We are really amazed, honoured and excited to have won The Temporary category (from a shortlist of 126 projects!) in the New London Awards for our work on the Temperance Hospital with Camden Collective and RARA as well as being commended in the Office Interiors category.
The annual awards is organised and hosted by New London Architecture to celebrate the best architecture and development recently completed or in design across the capital. 26 category winners were honoured across all sectors of London’s built environment, ranging from Housing to Offices, Education to Transport & Infrastructure, and Public Spaces to Masterplans & Area Strategies. Each scheme was selected by a prestigious international jury advised by London-based experts for having both the highest design quality and most positive social and economic impact for London. The Camden Collective Hub at the Temperance Hospital, currently providing free hot design space and subsidised offices for over 300 co-workers, is temporary as it is due to be demolished, at an as yet unspecified point in the future, to make way for the HS2 link. Thank you to Camden Collective for seeing our vision and giving us the opportunity to make it happen. Co-DB was just one part of the team that made the Temperance Hospital project possible. The following people also worked on the overall refurbishment: Client: CTU Community Project (the delivery body for the Collective project) and High Speed 2 Ltd. Design/Build Team: CO-DB & RARA Planning Consultant: Shaw Corporation Masterplan Consultant: Sheppard Robson Architects Electrical/BuildingContractor: Newtons Comments are closed.
