IOI Imagination Lab at Oxo Tower transforms a standard retail unit into a lively, engaging family maker space.

The Institute of Imagination wanted to set up a temporary lab space on the South Bank while they continued to search for a larger, permanent home in central London, for their exciting multi-million pound cultural project.

Along with building some quick, simple furniture to get the space up and running, we ran a number of workshops as part of the grand opening event.

Based around a series of internal and external installations, the activities helped forge connections with neighbours, by rescaling and re imagining the cool, crisp space as a somewhere playful to explore and adapt every day.
